Founded in Ransbach Baumbach in 1848. The company has always been a comparatively small, family run, organisation. Heinz Martin was the main designer during the 1960s into the 1970s. The brightly coloured, glossy, dripping "lava" glazes are much sought after by collectors. Jopeko is still existing.
