Vintage country styled jug by Wilhelm Kagel Pottery (1867 - 1935) born in Mecklenburg, Germany. Founded his own pottery in 1902 at Garmisch Partenkirchen.
His son Wilhelm Kagel junior took over the family business in 1935. He continued the traditional ceramic craft art till 1988, when the factory quietly closed.
