Original Studio Fayence (earthenware) wall plate or bowl from the Silberdistel Pottery. Founded in 1947 by Johann and Grete Breu at Grevelsberg. The factory stayed a small studio pottery during the 1950s and 1960s.  The brand was sold in 2005. Uwe Kerstan was an important designer for Silberdistel. This handmade crackle dish is made in the late 1950s. Beautiful vintage.
