Two friends from Solingen (Germany) Kurt Westen 1918-1982 and Herbert Jahn 1918- 2001 founded, short after World War II, JAWE Pottery. This large studio handled vase is handpainted 1950s - 1960s.  
Decor: Hunters on horseback, enjoying themselves hunting deer. Romantic hand-painted vase with woven handle. The vase comes in various soft shades, including red, blue and brown
